Trendway Introduces Trig and an Industry-First Sustainability Achievement

Holland, Mich… A fresh, contemporary ambiance welcomes you to the restyled Trendway Chicago Riverfront showroom this year. And what else could it be with the focus of celebration!
Trendway will not only launch Trig^TM, the stylishly-trim new desking collection, but also their biggest sustainability initiative to date.

The Trendway Chicago showroom, located at 325 N. Wells, across the street from the Merchandise Mart, will be open Monday, June 13, from 7:30am-8:00pm, Tuesday, June 14, from 7:30am-6:00pm, and Wednesday, June 15, from 8:00am-5:00pm. Trendway’s signature riverboat cruises will be ambling up and down the Chicago River on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm, concurrently, a grand reception will be hosted in the showroom. Tuesday is everything green, from enjoying the outdoors on our riverfront deck, to taking advantage of a free accredited learning session on BIFMA’s e3 Sustainability Standard. The day wraps up with a Green Celebration featuring beer and wine from environmentally-responsible suppliers paired with a unique sustainable menu of foods. Continuing their community- service culture, Trendway will make a donation to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge for every visitor badge scanned in the showroom. Showroom tours and product demonstrations will be provided all day.

Fresh and new from corner to corner.
The newly refreshed showroom showcases product introductions throughout, including Trendway’s new contemporary desking collection Trig – a stylishly fresh twist to office desking. The previously introduced Sketch R family of sleek tailored seating gets even better with the addition of Sketch Mesh Back and Sketch Express models. And one of our most famous chairs, IN^®, is back in full color! More showroom highlights include enhancements to Choices^®, Trendway’s number-one-selling furniture system, new laminate overhead storage options, and a wide array of electrical, lighting and paper management accessories.

Achievement of CarbonNeutral^® Status
A most notable achievement is also being celebrated this year -- Trendway has not only achieved CarbonNeutral status as a company, but now TrendWall^® becomes the office furniture industry’s first CarbonNeutral product, adding to its many existing sustainable features. In addition to a newly-constructed TrendWall training room, the showroom will offer a new TrendWall^® Clear and low-profile, high-capacity TrendWall^® Flooring Solution display.
