It’s a tradition of family fun and support for folks in need, and this year’s Cruise-In Benefit was bigger and better than ever. To date Cruise-Ins have raised more than $190,000 to assist families from the greater West Michigan area. At least 500 cars, truck, motorcycles and vehicles of every kind took part, along with a special exhibit of vintage boats and campers. Hundreds of visitors enjoyed food, games, music and raffles along with the show.

The annual event is staged by Trendway employees to help families facing serious financial challenges as the result of a family member’s health problems.This year’s event raised over $30,000 to benefit Nicole Crook, who suffered severe injuries in an automobile crash that left her a quadriplegic.Proceeds will help Nicole and her family with medical expenses and care for her special needs.

The benefit is co-sponsored by Boar’s Head and Thrivent Financial, along with extensive support from individual and corporate sponsors in the community.
